I’m from (Hunting Park) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but my family is from the South: Richmond, Virginia and Goldsboro, NC. My dad always went hunting for rabbits, deer and pheasants with his beagles. I didn’t really like to hunt because I hated killing animals and skinning it, but I liked eating it. Wild rabbit taste like chicken, especially with some gravy and rice. My dad first took me to the creek in Hunting Park and then to Wissahickon Creek when I was little to teach me about water. So at heart, I’m a country boy who loves the outdoors. I appreciate life and realize that being humble and taking care of family is important. Being committed is key. Without your word and working hard, you have nothing.
